About us

As a full-service photography studio, Feast Day specializes in projects that require an abundance of imagination and material know-how. We’re especially keen on projects that are creatively invigorating, technically improbable, and maybe just a wee bit strange.

Of course, if we were to define ourselves in dictionary terms, Feast Day is quite literally a celebration of beauty, bounty, and all the pleasures of making merry with others. Including you, we hope.

Part process. Part philosophy.

We founded Feast Day as a way to channel, share, and celebrate our collective creativity.

Simply put: we enjoy making alluring images alongside brave and interesting people. That’s why we work with our clients to help nurture the seed of an idea all the way through to enjoying the fruits of our final image(s).

It’s a delicate balance. We plan photo sessions down to the finest detail—schedules, shot lists, props, sets, talent, ingredients, locations, and so on—but still leave room for magic to bubble up and runneth over. It’s more fun this way. And better still, it’s this alchemical blend of intention, intuition, and play that makes for more interesting images.

Where we work

Feast Day is currently based in Houston, TX, where we have a dedicated photography studio and full-service woodshop for building sets, fabricating props, and materializing all manner of ideas.

We get around, too. Some of our clients are oceans away—as far afield as Mexico City, London, and Berlin to name a few. Good thing though, given that we enjoy working in studios and on-location around the globe.

Our team

Founded by two visual artists, we are experts in creative thinking and problem-solving. In short, we know how to make things work. And when we don’t, we figure it out anyway.
